The Speaker for the Finnish Parliament, Mr. Sauli Niinistö visited University of Oulu to give a speech at the seminar organized by Martti Ahtisaari Institute 19.10.2010.

In his seminar speech, The Speaker for the Finnish Parliament, Mr. Sauli Niinistö focused on the issues of European economy in the 2010s, outlined the crucial events of European Union development and discussed the future prospects of European economy. Mr. Niinistö’s speech led to a vivid discussion with the audience, where a lot of additional European economy and politics related topics were addressed.

This profound and inspiring seminar was attended by more than 400 participants, including the key figures from the City of Oulu, the University of Oulu, the leaders of local businesses, staff and students of University of Oulu.
