A significant challenge among Finnish companies is successfully penetrating foreign market. However, the lack of knowledge of the business culture of the target countries should not be the reason of a failure. Discussion and networking

For 10 minutes, the speakers will be giving the audience a brief update of the current economic situation of their country, and share the 3 most important factors foreign firms should take into account when starting business in their country. Further, they will also talk about their experiences in Finland and the differences in the culture they have faced.

Ms. Lisa Sounio, CEO of Sonay Ltd, Co-Founder of the travelling social website Dopplr Ltd, will give us the honour of opening the seminar by a presentation on the topic through the case Dopplr – Social Atlas.
