Professor Mikko Puhakka to become member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters

Economics Professor Mikko Puhakka has been chosen as a new member to the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters in its section of the Humanities.

Professor Puhakka is the first invited Academy member from Oulu Business School at the University of Oulu.

The Academy chose 27 new Finnish members, of which 11 from outside the capital region. Also three international members were chosen. Ordinary membership is granted to meritorious Finnish and international scholars, by invitation only.
